| Notes | Obituaries: The Rev. Luke G. Stoltzfus, 74, of Perkiomenville, died Tuesday at home after a long illness. From 1951 to 1965, he was a pastor at Diamond Street Mennonite Church, Philadelphia. From 1965 to 1995, he oversaw Mennonite congregations in Philadelphia, Chester and southern New Jersey. A 1944 graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School, he majored in Bible and sociology at Eastern Mennonite College, Harrisonburg, Va., graduating in 1973. Born in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Elmer and Sarah Glick Stoltzfus. He was married 54 years to Miriam R. Weaver Stoltzfus. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Rhoda, married to William Longenecker and Theta, married to David Jones ; three sons, Glenn, married to Jane Stoltzfus, Don, married to Linda High, and Eric, married to Cheryl Stoltzfus. __________________________________________ |
