Notes Obituary:
Rita A. (DeFeo) Caruso, 89 of Norristown, a hairdresser, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at her home. Wife of the late Louis L. Caruso.

Born in Philadelphia on October 28, 1920, daughter of the late Antoinette (Vasatura) and Luciano DeFeo. Rita has been living in Norristown since 1985, formerly of South West Philadelphia. She most enjoyed spending time with friends and especially her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna (George, Jr.) Major of Norristown; granddaughters, Maria Elena (Thomas) Horn of Plymouth Meeting, Danielle (Paolo) Santangelo of Norristown, and Donna Maria (David) Thornton of Eagleville; grandson, George (Jamie) Major III of Oreland; six great grandchildren, Elena Marie Horn, Annaliese Naolle Horn, Thomas J. Horn, Bella Danielle Santangelo, Nicholas Ignazio Santangelo, and Olivia Grace Thornton.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Angela Giannini, Angelo DeFeo, Philomena Wojtkiewicz, Anthony DeFeo, Louise Vincenti, and Theresa Raffaele.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown.

Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Moore & Snear Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohohcken.

Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
