Glenn Colliver, 88, of Lansdale, passed away February 9, 2016.
He was the loving husband of Verna (Mohler) Colliver. They wed June 8, 1974, and were into their 42nd year of a wonderful marriage.
Born April 4, 1927, in Morrow, OH, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Irma (Whitacre) Colliver.
Glenn worked over 26 years for GE and later worked many years at the Presbyterian Historical Society and the Episcopal Diocese of PA. He also served for many years as the historian and archivist of The Eastern PA Conference of the United Methodist Church, and was a member and a very active volunteer at the United Methodist Church, Lansdale.
Additional survivors include three children, Deborah Wilcox (Charles), Lansdale, Gerald S. Colliver (Susan), Harrison, OH, and Kathy Colliver, Spring Lake, MI; grandchildren, Scott, Christopher, and Andrew, and great grandson, Jack.
He is predeceased by a grandson, Mark, and siblings, Robert Colliver and Betty LaRue.
The family will receive friends starting 1 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Dock Community Chapel, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA, 19446, with the Celebration of Life service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
