Obituary: Frank A. Moyer, 79, of Hilltown Township, Perkasie, died Saturday, June 27, 1998 at his residence following months of failing health. He was the husband of Sara G. (Rice) Moyer for 58 years. They lived in Hilltown Township for more than 50 years. Born in Lower Salford Township, he was the son of the late Franklin L. and Bertha (Alderfer) Moyer. For most of his adult working life, Mr. Moyer and LeRoy King, now of the Rockhill Mennonite Community, were co-owners of the former Farm and Garden Center in Chalfont, later known as Chal-font Agway. After his retirement, he was employed by Penn Foundation and Bucks County Transportation Services. Mr. Moyer was a member of the Plains Mennonite Church, Hatfield, for over 50 years. Funeral services were held July 1. Interment was in the Plains Mennonite Cemetery. |
