Obituary: Godshalk, Charles M., son of William and Sallie (Shelly) Godshalk, was born in Doylestown Twp., Pa., Oct. 23, 1889; died at Souderton, Pa., Apr. 22, 1986; aged 96 y. On June 6, 1914, he was married to Susie Hunsberger, who died in 1978. Surviving are 3 daughters (Sara Mrs. John H. Chittick, Martha G. Mrs. Clarence D. Meyers, and Blanche G. Mrs. Vernon H. Althouse), 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter (Esther Mae Godshalk). He was member of Doylestown Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Apr. 26, in charge of Ray K. Yoder, Roy C. Bucher, and Joseph L. Gross; interment in Doylestown Mennonite Cemetery.
