Notes Obituary:
Caroline A. Alderfer, 76, of Franconia Township, died Wednesday in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville.

She worked in the dietary department of Souderton Mennonite Homes for the past 10 years. Previously, she was active in home nursing care and domestic work.

Born on the Alderfer homestead near Harleysville, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Rein A. and Susan A. (Alderfer) Alderfer.

She was a member of Salford Mennonite Church, Harleysville, where she taught children's and adult Sunday school classes. She also assisted various churches with their Vacation Bible School classes.

Survivors: Sister, Naomi A., wife of George S. Moyer of Sellersville, and brothers, Sanford A. and Harold A., both of Harleysville.

Services: 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the church. Call 4-6 p.m. Sunday in the church. Arrangements, Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home, Souderton.
