Notes Obituary:
Linford C. Benner, 81, of Souderton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at his residence. Beloved husband to Miriam K. Benner for 60 years.

Born in Creamery, to the late Joseph and Ellen (Cramer) Benner.

Linford was an electrician for Bergey's Electric for over 55 years.

He was a charter member of Salem Mennonite Church of Shelly.

He enjoyed playing games and spending time with his family.

In addition to his spouse, he was survived by four sons, Larry Benner and his wife, Joan of Colorado Springs, CO, Ray Benner and his wife, Stephanie, Dennis Benner and his wife, Joan, and Ronald Benner and his wife, Deborah, all of Telford; two daughters, Joanne Benner of Souderton, and Glenda Garman and her husband, Steve, of Eureka, IL; a brother, Joseph Benner of Reading; two sisters-in-law Gloria Benner, of Harleysville and Thelma Benner of Lansdale; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Willard, Edwin, Garrett, Christian, Leon and Samuel Benner; two sisters, Mary Barbara Nice and Kathryn Benner; and a granddaughter, Kristina Garman.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at Salem Mennonite Church, Shelly. Burial was at Souderton Mennonite Cemetery.
