Obituary: Stanley A. Moyer, 87, of Souderton, formerly of Franconia, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA. He was the loving husband of the late Gloria (Keller) Moyer for 65 years. Stanley was born on the Moyer homestead in Franconia Twp., PA to the late David D. and Mary Lizzie (Allebach) Moyer. Stanley attended the Franconia School through the eighth grade. He was a self employed dairy and crop farmer throughout his life time. A hard working humble man, he was a deeply devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed eating out with friends, annual family trips to Ocean City, NJ, day trips to Lancaster and traveling with his late wife, Gloria. In his leisure time he enjoyed wood working and made many items for his family and charitable causes. Stanley was a life member of Franconia Mennonite Church where he served in many roles of the church. He enjoyed singing with the Franconia Men’s Chorus and later the Franconia Church Chorus. He is survived by his four Sons, Harley K. (Sandra) Moyer of Athol, ID, David K (Bev) Moyer of Souderton, PA, Brian K. (Susan) Moyer of Souderton, PA and Bradley K. (Sherri) Moyer of Broadway, VA, his daughter, Carol K. (Dale) Leatherman of Harleysville, PA; thirteen grandchildren - Ryan, Jamie, Mark, Rebecca, Joshua, Brandon, Jared, Missi, Brett, Brooke, Alyssa, Adam, and Aaron and nineteen great grandchildren - Cody, Esther, Isaac, Jasmine, Ruby, Asher, Havilah, Austin, Logan, Peyton, Genevieve, Eli, Axel, Brody, Cammy, Alex, Parker, Lucy and Crew. In addition to his wife, Gloria, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jolene K. Moyer, three sisters, Ruth Goshow, Elizabeth "Betty" Moyer and Verna Moyer . A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964 from 9:00 to 10:45 am, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Franconia Mennonite Cemetery.
