Obituary: Grant Zook, age 76, of Souderton, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Clemmer) Zook, with whom he shared over 54 years of marriage. Born June 20, 1939 in Honey Brook Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Jacob and Anna Zook. Grant was the owner of Zook Excavating Company for over 21 years. After retiring he worked for Marcho Farms and Gotwals Brothers. Grant had a passion for antique farm equipment and was a member of Bucks-Mont 2 Cylinder Tractor Club. He enjoyed going to the mountains, hunting and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed spending the winters in Florida. His biggest joy was his family and the time they spent together. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Diane Landes and her husband Michael, Randall Zook and his wife Wendy; grandchildren Austin Landes and his wife Julie, Eric Landes and his wife Mikaela, Patrick Landes and his wife Amanda, Jacob and Jenna Zook; 6 great grandchildren; sisters Leona Oberholtzer and her husband Leon of Lancaster and Mary Kathryn Hess and her husband Stan of St Peters Village, brother Elwood Zook and his wife Linda of Lititz. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 2PM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Franconia Mennonite Church, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will receive guests from 3:30 – 5:30 PM in the fellowship hall. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Grant’s name may be made to Grand View Health Foundation (designated to Grand View Hospice), P. O. Box 902 Sellersville, PA 18960.
