Notes Obituary:
The Rev. John W. Clark, 81, of Hendricks Station Road, Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County, died Thursday in Quakertown Manor. He was the husband of Naomi (Madison) Clark. They were married 57 years in May.

He was a member and pastor of visitation for the past two years of the Family Worship Center, Lansdale. Before that he was a minister for the Assembly of God for over 40 years, serving as pastor to churches in Quakertown; Meadeville, Crawford County; West Long Branch, N.J., and Ephrata and Lititz, both in Lancaster County, until retiring in 1989.

Clark was also presbyter for Assembly of God Churches for eight years while in Lancaster. He was instrumental in growing the congregations of all of the churches he served and in building five new churches.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William D. and Mary E. (Flack) Clark.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving stateside.

Survivors: Wife; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Damiani.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday in the Family Worship Center. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements, Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, Quakertown.
