Description |
A man's handstitched frock coat made out of a black and brown woven wool blend. The coat has a notcheded collar and a five button front closure. There is a waist seam along the natural waistline. The front flaps cut away and are rounded, while in the back there is a centred air vent opening. The coat is lined in black cotton, while the sleeves are lined in a striped white silk. There are two inside chest pockets. |

Worn by Henry M. Clemmer (1849-1936) of Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County. He was preacher at the Salford Mennonite Church. The jacket was made by his wife Mary Ellen (Kulp) Clemmer (1857-1928). |
