Description A handspun towel made out of bleached plain weave linen. At each of the top corners there is a 1/2" long white cotton twill loop. Near the bottom is a morning glory flower and bird motif, in back stitch and was probably traced from a stencil. At the bottom of the towel there is a single row of hemstitching and a 3.00" long knotted self-fringe.

Provenance Made by Catherine "Kate" D. (Moyer) Keeler (1865-1940), wife of Jesse H. Keeler (1856-1917). They were members of the Towamencin Mennonite Church. This towel was eventually passed down to her granddaughter, the donor.
