John E. Lapp Fraktur No. 241 - for Richard Detweiler. Text: "Thy Word is Truth." "Inauguration Richard C. Detweiler, Sixth President Eastern Mennonite College and Seminary, April 25, 1981." "Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth..." Signed "John F. Lapp, April 10, 1981. No. 241". Design consists of two urns with birds and tulips, a towel and basin (E.M.C. symbol), the Cross, a scroll, a blue heart with "EMC". Colors: red, yellow, blue, green, greyish green, light-brown. Walnut framed hand-made by Oliver D. Nyce, eighty-nine year old resident of Eastern Mennonite Home. |
