Description Bookplate for Martha L. Sauble, dated 1898, on the front flyleaf of a copy of the Brethren's Sunday-School Songbook (1894). The inscription text is in calligraphy lettering, colored red, blue and gold, with a jagged line border and a small rosette on a leafy stem at the bottom. The text reads: "The Property of Martha L. Sauble. From the German Baptist Sunday School at Rapho Township, Lancaster County, Pa. 1898."

Provenance Martha L. Sauble (born ca. 1885) was the daughter of Aaron & Mary Lenhart Sauble of Rapho Township, Lancaster County, who are buried in the Mastersonville Brethren in Christ cemetery. Nothing more is known about her.
