Description A ladies fascinator made out of an olive green wool. The shawl has an open knit and all the edges are scalloped. A knitted fascinator would have been worn over the head, similar to a head scarf, and tied under the chin.
Provenance Worn by Emma S. Nice Landis (1876-1963), wife of Abraham L. Landis (1874-1946). They resided in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County. The fascinator was later owned by their daughter, Lizzie Etta N. Landis (1904-1977). It was purchased by the donor at her household auction in June 1995.
