Provenance |
Embroidered by Fannie T. Detweiler (Hendricks) (1840-1917), when she was about fourteen years old. She was the daughter of Jacob Detweiler (1797-1880) and Susanna Tyson Detweiler (1794-1844), of Franconia Township, Montgomery County. In adulthood, she married Joseph G. Hendricks (1842-1902). This sampler was passed down to Fannie's grandson, Paul H. Hendricks (1905-1996), and then to his son, the donor. |
