A ladies shirtwaist made out of sheer white cotton organdy. The neckline is high with a flat seam collar, while the yoke which is created by a high inset seam, comprised of sets of thin pintucks and lace inserts. There are no buttonholes so it is likely it was pinned at the neck with a brooch. At the back there is a similar single gathering at the lower center which creates the fanned out look down the center front.
