Description A handstitched grain bag made out of handspun natural linen tow. Near the top are the crudely embroidered initials "I.H" in brown wool. There are two buttonholes on the left side flanking the seam with handwoven bleached linen tape ties inserted into the holes and tied. The top opening has a 1/4" wide foldover hem. By the bottom right corner there is a cream plain weave cotton patch.
Provenance The initials pertain to the owner, but there is no additional information about the owner, maker or origin of this piece.
