Description |
Family record, in nice fraktur lettering, for Samuel and Susanna Neukumer [Newcomer] Landes, spanning the years 1783 to 1800. Written (and dated) March 23, 1815. Records birth of 12 children, including two sets of twins. The birth date of the second set was December 9, 1795 (David and Henry). David died as an infant, though death date is not given; Henry is given a completely wrong birthdate the following year (too close in proximity to the next daughter's birth). Henry's correct birthdate is December 9, 1795, as given on his gravestone in the Line Lexington Mennonite Cemetery. A second David was born 1800. |
