Description A ladies handstitched apron made out of black cotton. The apron has an attached waistband of an oxidised black cotton (now dark green) with a hook and eye closure at the back. There is also cartridge pleating at the attachment of the skirt to the band.
Provenance There is no information about the maker or origin of this piece, other than it comes out of the family of Charles T. (1887-1955) and Mary T. (Bean) Hedrick (1890-1960), of Kulpsville, Montgomery County.
