Professional photograph of a sightseeing group (including four Mennonite couples from the Lower Salford area), circa 1905, on a touring wagon in Toronto, Ontario. Identified persons include Lewis M. & Sallie Drissel Moyer, Irwin & Ellen Hagey Ziegler, and Mr. & Mrs. Henry Bergey, all from the Harleysville, PA area. They were members of either the Salford or Franconia Mennonite congregations. |

Originally owned by Lewis M. & Sallie Drissel Moyer, Harleysville, PA, this photo was later owned by their daughter Mamie D. Moyer (1893-1986), who married Charles S. Bucher, Harleysville. Found in the collection of Mamie Moyer Bucher (widow of Charles), Harleysville, PA; these photos later belonged to their son Walter M. Bucher, whose widow donated them to MHC. |
