Provenance |
Charles S. Bucher (1884-1951) operated a livestock auction and sales next to the Harleysville Hotel, from about 1909 to 1933. Photo given by Mamie D. Bucher (widow of Charles), Harleysville, PA, to Joel D. Alderfer in 1976, when he was working on a local history project in 9th grade at Indian Valley Jr. High School (age almost 15). 40 years later, he donated this and other related photos to MHC. |
