Description |
A handstitched bolster case made out of a handspun blue and bleached white woven plaid linen. There is a 12.00" long slit opening at one end with a 1/8" wide foldover hem.. Attached to the inside of the opening are two white cotton twill ties averaging 5.250" long. |

There is no information about the maker or origin of this piece. Purchased by the donor at the estate auction of Arlene C. Ziegler (1924-2010). It is possible that this piece came from Arlene's mother's side of the family--Sallie L. Clemens Ziegler (1897-1967). They resided mainly in Montgomery County. |
