Description |
Lap robe comprised of probably mohair plush, with a central dog motif with a stylized floral and leaf frame in tones of red and brown. The back is comprised of three large pelts of fur. There is an exposed red felt layer stitched between the front panel and the fur panel. The two panels have a butted binding and are reinforced with black machine stitching. |

Owned by Henry Rosenberger (1854-1930) and wife Mary H. Sorver Rosenberger (1854-1935) of Quakertown, Bucks County. They were members of the Great Swamp Reformed Church and are buried in the Union Cemetery, Quakertown. The donor was their granddaughter. |
