Description |
A ladies square shawl or neckerchief made out of a cream silk and mohair blend. The shawl has been crocheted in a hairpin lace style, with an open net design in the center square with wide more tightly knitted borders. |
Provenance |
Ownership is attributed to the donor's grandmother, Mary B. (Schantz) Longacre (1852-1931), wife of John W. Longacre (1848-1922). They resided in Richland Township, Bucks County and were members of the East Swamp Mennonite Church. |
