Provenance |
Drawing by Philip Grant S. Alderfer, of Lower Salford Township, in 1882 when he was 13 years old. Later in life, he told his family that he was interested in architecture and drawing. This is one of four large drawings by him, (which have survived) of farm houses and barns along the Branch Creek in Lower Salford, where he grew up. Passed down to his daughter Lizzie Alderfer Heckler (the donor). |
