Description |
A child's coat machine made coat comprised of a light brown wool. There is an attached self-fabric cape at the top, that is open at the front center, where the collar and notched lapels comprised of brown (persian lamb) meet it. There are also two large decorative buttons at each point, with an ornate eagle and wolf design on each. The cape has a dart on either shoulder that meets a raised, high shoulder. At the back of the slit there is an opening, with an embargoed arrow design at the bottom of the point, which fans out. The coat closes with a center front button closure comprised of five brass buttons, also with an elaborate Greek inspired figure and scene. There are two straight slit and u shape pockets at the natural waist. At the back there is a princess seaming and goring, with two button and flaps above an open seam, with arrow embroidery, into the single air vent. The sleeves are set into the arm syce and are long with a 3.00" wide cuff made out of the same brown mohair. The coat is lined in a woven cotton and mohair blend in a brown shade. |
