Description |
A ladies dress made out of a cream silk crepe with floral damask pattern. The dress is comprised of two articles; the outer dress is a sleeveless tunic style dress, with a wide scooped neckline. On both the sides there is a smocked panel which highlights a dropped waistline, but on the proper left side an additional flounce of self-fabric has been attached, creating an asymetrical design. The second component is a half slip made out of cream shirred crepe, trimmed with lace around the low scooped neckline, with the damask crepe sleeves attached at either strap. There is also a inner waistband created out of the damask crepe with snaps, that attaches to the bottom hem of the half slip, which also has snaps. The sleeves are made of two panels, and the second panel is a asymmetrical tringle shape with a large v cut out on the interior seam. The sleeves were also gives the sleeves a handkerchief hem look. The hem of the skirt is straight, with the side left flounce hanging down past the hem. The dress is both machine and handstitched. |
