Fraktur-style certificate for the 40th wedding anniversary of Herman B. and Alma B. Fluck Kirkpatrick, married September 1901. Made by John D.Souder, apparently in 1941 (although not signed or dated). Central heart motif with text inside reads: "40th Wedding Anniversary Alma Bean Fluck and Herman Ball Kirkpatrick... 1901" Certificate is now faded (from exposure to sunlight). |

40th wedding anniversary certificate made in 1941 by John D. Souder, Telford, PA, for Herman B. & Alma Fluck Kirkpatrick, who were married September 1901. Their daughter, Jeannette Kirkpatrick Heimbach had the piece made for them by Souder. It was passed down to her daughter, Jessica Heimbach Raymond (the donor). |
