Writing model (vorschrift), dated 1801 or 1804, in poor condition. First line reads: "Ach Lieber Mensch, was du nicht thust, So bedenke das du sterben must, ... " Mounted on old acidic paper that is deteriorating. Done in the hand and style of Schoolmaster Andreas Kolb. In poor condition. |

Vorschrift, circa 1801, attributed to Schoolmaster Andreas Kolb (1749-1811). Would have been made either in Bucks or Montgomery County (more likely Bucks County), based on Kolb's documented teaching career. Appears to be dated 1801 or 1804, but this is deteriorating. No other provenance known. |
